MBA Admission notification dated July 14, 2010

The course is the UGC/AICTE-approved 2-year regular MBA course has been running successfully since 2006-07

Eligibility: A Graduate or a Post-Graduate in any discipline of Arts/Science/ Commerce including Medical/ Engineering/ 5-year Law under 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent with 45% marks (40% for candidates under reserved categories) either in aggregate or in Honours or at Master’s level, is eligible for admission

Admission procedure: Application form price Rs 200/- at the University cash counter and Rs 250/- (if downloaded) in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of Vidyasagar University on any bank payable at Midnapore

Qualification: CAT/MAT/JEMAT/own test

Last date of receiving filled in application forms (CAT/MAT/JEMAT qualified candidates): 11th August, 2010

Date for GD and PI on the campus: 13th August, 2010 at 12.00 Noon. Invitation for participation in group discussion and personal interview is open to all eligible applicants with valid test score

There may not be any separate formal invitation for the same

Last date of receiving completed Application Forms: 09th August, 2010

Written test on the campus: 11th August, 2010 (Wednesday)

Group Discussion and Personal Invitation: 13th August, 2010on the campus at Silver Jubilee Building

Facilities available: Computer Lab with internet connectivity; hostel accommodation (limited) for boys and girls; Modern class room; on- and off-campus placement opportunity

Course fee: A very low course fee of only Rs 15,000/- per semester for four semesters

Teaching: Experienced teachers from various allied disciplines from within and outside the University
